Hi all, Apologies if this appears elsewhere, have a 2019 1.5 ecoboost with 42K miles on the clock, with the exception of a Halfords installed dash cam there are no further modifications. 2014 Mk3 Focus - I understand this rain light option should turn on the headlights when the wipers are on continuously if auto lights are set. It doesn't. I'm no mechanic by any stretch - would I be right in thinking there's a sensor somewhere between the wipers and the headlights to do this? Is so, where might I find it, and how would I find the part number? Just to clarify - this is not the 'rain sensor' for rain. It is only intended to turn the lights on when

Just going to pop this in here for anyone else returning to this thread in the future as an alternative method to removing the pump filter, as I struggled to remove it once getting to it. Spent a couple of days consistently siphoning the tank and refilling with water from the hose. With each siphon more and more dirt was being drained, so continued repeating the process until the water was running clear. Popped a steradant tablet in over night for good measure just to hopefully kill off anything left behind, and today jets are firing on all cylinders! I have completely emptied the tank now (siphoned the majority and let the jets do the rest) and will refill with some quality screenwash (perhaps Autoglym's), and hope they remain unclogged. I'd recommend this method to anyone prior to trying to get to the pump, as it can be a right pain to remove. -
